Fred Cahill
Fred Cahill is a graduate of the Engineering Faculty of Memorial University of Newfoundland and a tireless volunteer.
In 1985, Fred joined his father's company, G.J. Cahill & Company Limited, where he is now the owner and president. Under Fred’s direction, the company has evolved from a small electrical contracting company into one of the largest multi-disciplinary construction and module fabrication companies in Atlantic Canada. G.J. Cahill Limited is now involved in all major industries including oil and gas, mining, and power generation sectors. In recent years, Fred has expanded the company operations into the Western Canada oil sands.
In addition to being a busy corporate executive, Fred is an active volunteer, lending his time and knowledge to numerous industry and community organizations including Centre for Health Information, Hibernia Platform Employers’ Organization, Genesis Group, and Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra.
